S C Oilcan Candlestick Telephone
Stromberg Carlson manual candlestick telephone. This antique telephone is nicknamed the "Oilcan". That is do to the fact that it is shaped like an old time oil can, it is also a tapered shaft phone. It is equipped with a well embossed beveled transmitter and a Stromberg Carlson brass bottom receiver. Note the porcelain Burns mouthpiece.
